Ballot result on proposal to extend the present Allestree Conservation Area held at Public Meeting 11^th March 2009

In total, including ballot papers handed in at the meeting on the 11^th and those received subsequently, we have received 35 papers representing 45% of the 78 residents who attended. The papers revealed those in favour of extending the conservation area 34 and those against 1. Combined with the almost unanimous vote by show of hands of those present at the meeting, Allestree Preservation Group is to proceed with an application for an assessment to be undertaken which will be ultimately be submitted to the local planning authority for their consideration.
