Palm Court Planning Application 05/11/00572 – Revision to original application

E-mail Print PDF

Interested parties should be aware that if they have lodged a letter (or e-comment on the council website) of objection or support to this development they need to look at the revisions and decide if they wish to register their views again. If they do they need to do so in respect of the revisions as the originals will not be relevant to the changes which have been made to the application.

Any comments must be made to the council by the 25th August and not 18th August stated in the council letters of notification. This was because they posted a notice in the Derby Telegraph and the 21 day period for comment from that date is the 25th.

Many residents and APG members are becoming increasingly frustrated by the clear collusion taking place in encouraging people, the vast majority from outside of Allestree, to make e-comments on the council website planning pages in favour of this development. At present the council do not appear willing to react to the various complaints from members of the public which we feel makes a mockery of the genuine letters of objection and support properly and seriously constructed and the whole planning process. We shall not let this matter rest however.

We will let you know of our intentions towards arriving at a democratic view from local residents, whatever their opinions towards this application, as soon as our plans can be made public. In the meantime, if you feel strongly about this development please make your views known through the legitimate planning process.
